Bio: I am a postdoctoral investigator in the department of Marine Chemistry and Geochemistry at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. I study the microbiology of deep ocean crust to help us understand what life was like, or is now like, on other volcanic or ocean worlds. I had two girls in grad school and I am a Girl Scout leader and volunteer. I love to cook, garden, and sew (girly stuff), hug animals, stare at the stars, and play outside. I was born to mother and do science!
